Eingeschränkter Dienstbetrieb der Lichtenberger Bürgerämter am 27. März 2023

Aufgrund des Einsatzes der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter am Abstimmungstag sowie notwendiger Nacharbeiten zum Volksentscheid ist am Montag, den 27. März 2023 nur das Bürgeramt 2 (Lichtenberg), Normannenstr. 1 – 2, 10367 Berlin geöffnet.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die im Bürgeramt 3 (Friedrichsfelde) sowie im Ausbildungsbürgeramt (Alt-Hohenschönhausen) beantragten Dokumente an diesem Tag nicht abgeholt werden können.


Am Donnerstag, den 06.April 2023 ist das Bürgeramt nur von 07:30 - 15:30 Uhr geöffnet.

Wegen der Bauarbeiten und der damit einhergehenden Einschränkungen bei der Fahrstuhlnutzung kann derzeit kein durchgehender barrierefreier Zugang zum Bürgeramt 3 gewährleistet werden. Sollten Sie einen Termin vereinbart haben und auf den Aufzug angewiesen sein, melden Sie sich bitte unter der E-Mail-Adresse post.buergeramt@lichtenberg.berlin.de, damit wir Ihren gebuchten Termin verlegen können. Residence permit for a foreign child born in Germany - Issuance

Initial issuance of a residence permit for a foreign child

  • born in Germany and
  • where at least one parent holds a valid residence title

Prerequisites

  • A personal interview is required
    The interview should, if possible, take place by appointment.
  • Ex officio - Issuance at a Citizens Registration Office (Bürgeramt)
    The residence permit for the child can be issued by any Civil Office (Bürgeramt) in Berlin if the following requirements are met:
    • Both parents (in the case of shared parental responsibility) or the parent with sole parental responsibility are in possession of a valid residence title when the child is born.
    • The residence title (residence permit, EU Blue Card, settlement permit, EC long-term residence permit, right of residence or unlimited residence permit) of the parents or parent with sole parental responsibilitymust have been issued by the Berlin Immigration Office.
    • The child has their own passport.
  • On application - Issuance at the Berlin Immigration Office
    The residence permit for the child must be applied for at the Berlin Immigration Office if one of the following reasons applies: .
    • Only one parent (in the case of joint parental responsibility) is in possession of a valid residence title when the child is born (see above).
    • The child does not have their own passport, but is entered in a parent's passport.
  • Birth in Germany
    The child must have been born in the Federal territory and registered in Berlin together with the parents or the parent with rights of custody.

  • The child's passport
    The child must either possess its own valid passport or be registered in the passport of a parent.
  • 1 current biometric photo

  • Passports of the parents

Fees

  • 50.00 euros
  • For a child with Turkish citizenship: 22.80 euros
  • Free of charge: when presenting current proof of receiving benefits according to SGB II, SGB XII or the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act

  • Both parents (in the case of shared parental responsibility) or the parent with sole right of custody are in possession of a valid residence title when the child is born.
  • The residence title (residence permit, EU Blue Card, settlement permit, EC long-term residence permit, right of residence or unlimited residence permit) of the parents or parent must have been issued by the Berlin Immigration Office.
  • The child has their own passport.
In all other cases: Berlin Immigration Office.
