This is the case if:

- 3. Change the legal form of your business. Deregister your trade under the previous legal form. Then re-register your business with a trade registration under the new legal form.
- If your business continues to exist and you only wish to report the partial cessation of individual commercial activities, you can voluntarily report this with a trade re-registration. (see "More information")
- If you relocate the headquarters of your company or a branch office or a dependent branch of your company within the municipality (if relocating within Berlin) to a new location, it is sufficient to re-register your business with the public order office of the new business location.
