Building Chamber - Request cancellation of membership in the Chamber as a consulting engineer

As a rule, membership for consulting engineers in the Berlin Chamber of Civil Engineers must be cancelled if the respective person no longer has their place of residence, establishment or place of employment in the state of Berlin and no longer provides services for projects in the state of Berlin. For example, the professional activity is continued in another federal state.

In addition to the departure of persons, so-called grounds for refusal can also result in the cancellation of membership. Reasons for refusal include, for example, criminal convictions or bans on practising the profession. Cancellation is initiated by the Berlin Building Chamber.

Prerequisites

  • You no longer provide services as a consulting engineer in the state of Berlin
  • As a consulting engineer, you no longer have a place of business in the state of Berlin
