Building Chamber - Apply for entry in the list of qualified structural engineers

If you want to provide proof of stability, you need to be registered in the list of qualified structural engineers. You can apply for registration with the Berlin Building Chamber.

The proof of stability for buildings in classes 1 to 3 and other structures that are not buildings must be prepared by a qualified structural engineer in Berlin. This person must be entered in the list of qualified structural engineers maintained by the Berlin Building Chamber. Registrations from other countries are also valid in Berlin.

If you wish to be entered in the list of qualified structural engineers, you must submit your application and all required documents to the Berlin Building Chamber.

Prerequisites

  • Professionally qualifying university degree
    Degree in architecture, structural engineering or civil engineering
  • At least three years of practical experience
    in the field of structural design
